Every now and then, we people ask ourselves, why we are living, and where the purpose within lies.
Many philosophers have argued and came to their conclusions.
What me and many other Christians believe in, is a belief in a challenging, yet happy life on earth. Life is an experience in itself.
Check out some religions, and compare them.
When we come to the understanding that we humans all have our weaknesses, we must come to the conclusion, that we are dependant on a loving father, in essence God.
Evil is lurking around the corner, temptation is everywhere and is only getting worse.
Men have fought war after war and haven't managed to live well together.
Through our failures and mistakes we can learn. We can be role models to others. Every moment we have influence.
By accepting Christ into our lives, we give him command, for he is perfect and has a plan for us. But it is a long journey that takes commitment. It's like a relationship that we build, based on personal experience, however with a supernatural being, unlike with other humans and much more rewarding. Don't expect instant results, you'll have to put in some effort first.
Part of this plan is defined in the bible.
God is real and has the strongest influence in both natural and supernatural affairs. God, the father, sent his son to save us, so that our sins are forgiven (as in: he knows what it's like to be human and he was tempted aswell). When we accept him and follow him, we receive the holy spirit, which allows us to communicate with him.
Every person can do what he wants, that is how God gave us freedom. Otherwise it would be a form of forced opinion.
